SF Muni bus rerouting begins ahead of Warriors victory parade

SAN FRANCISCO -- Traffic impacts for Monday morning's Warriors NBA Championship parade commenced Sunday afternoon as SF Muni begins rerouting buses near Market Street, transit officials said. 

The crew introduced Thursday night it will maintain its victory parade on Monday, June 20, in San Francisco on Market Avenue.  

It should start at 11:20 a.m. on the intersection of Market and Major streets, and can finish at eighth road round 2 p.m. 

The parade was initially introduced as having an endpoint at sixth Avenue on Thursday, however that was modified to eighth Avenue Friday. 

The SFMTA Twitter account posted concerning the adjustments Sunday morning, stating that bus reroutes would begin at 3 p.m. 

A complete of 31 routes that both cross or are close to Market Avenue will probably be affected. Most reroutes will stay in place till 6 p.m. Monday.
