North Richland Hills resident claims $1 million scratch ticket prize

A North Richland Hills resident recently claimed a $1 million top prize-winning ticket in the Texas Lottery scratch ticket game Ultimate 7s, Texas Lottery officials announced Thursday.
Tickets were purchased at a Kroger store located at 9135 Grapevine Highway in North Richland Hills near the Northeast campus of Tarrant County College. The person who won the award chose to remain anonymous.
It was the third of four $1 million top prizes to be claimed in the game. The Ultimate 7s offers over $119.1 million in total prizes. According to the Texas Lottery Commission, the overall chance of winning any prize in the game is one in 3.50.
On Tuesday, another North Texas resident won $1 million, but instead from a “Step to Texas” lottery ticket. Last Thursday, the Texas Lottery announced that a Fort Worth resident won a $3 million second-tier Mega Millions prize.
